Exchange activities

During my exchange at Aarhus university, I studied at the Computer science faculty. Over 1 semester I followed 3 courses worth a total of 30 ECTS.

01

Design for Products, Services, Systems and Experiences

Over a semester I developed a portfolio,  this was done through bi-weekly assignments redesigning a nespresso machine. Every assignment included a new visual design inspired by another design period, and an interaction redesign based on different design frameworks.

The final portfolio can be found on the left.

The visuals that were created ranged from only physical sketching to 3d modeling digitally (for final assignments).

02

Human Computer Interaction

During this course I developed an AI PDF processing platform. A user could upload a PDF and an AI model would analyze this PDF and give main points. This course was focused on the interaction of a user and on the development of an interface through HTML, Python and CSS.  It started off creating a chat interface individually and then with a group improving on this, after creating the final PDF-processing page analysis was done with a think-aloud study, and through human computer interaction principles and frameworks. Like activity theory.

The website was unfortunately developed on a closed platform from another university, but the reports about the interface can be found here

03

Data Visualization

During this masters CS course, together with group-members, I developed an interactive Data Visualization Dashboard, through HTML, Python and CSS.

The presentation on this dashboard can be found here. This Course improved my knowledge on different data visualization topics, for example Interaction for DataVis, Visual encoding, Geospatial DataVisualizations and multivariate visualizations. Furthermore it was my first time working together in a coding hub.
