Digital Distractions

Through this project, I learned how design can function as a research method, particularly within Research through Design (RtD).  I gained understanding of how framing and context influence the interpretation of prototypes, and how design artifacts can act as tools for inquiry and reflection.

Additionally, I learned about cultural probes as a method for gathering qualitative, user-driven insights in exploratory design processes. The project also helped me understand the difference between Research through Design and Research for Design.
